1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the LifeForm mobile application ("App"), operated by Launchpad (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa.

By downloading, accessing, or using LifeForm, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

LifeForm is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of LifeForm require an active subscription or one-time payment. All payments are processed via third-party app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play, etc.).

In some cases, access may be granted by your employer or organization under a corporate wellness program.

We do not store your payment information. Refunds, if applicable, are handled according to the respective store's policies.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect and process personal and health-related data to provide and enhance your experience. This includes steps, workouts, biometric data, and other wellness indicators. By using LifeForm, you consent to such data collection.

6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

- Misrepresent or falsify any data, including but not limited to steps, workouts, and manually reported activity.
- Use external tools or methods to manipulate data, especially in corporate challenges or prize-linked events.
- Share offensive, harmful, or illegal content via the App.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.

LifeForm reserves the right to remove or restrict access for users engaged in any prohibited activity, with or without notice.

7. Data Verification and Enforcement

LifeForm reserves the right to request additional data (such as screenshots, sync history, or device logs) to verify the accuracy of reported activity.

Failure to comply may result in:

- Disqualification from challenges
- Loss of eligibility for rewards or prizes
- Denial of subscription refunds
- Immediate removal from the platform

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including trademarks, content, and features, are owned by Launchpad (Pty) Ltd or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without written permission.

9. AI and Automated Features

LifeForm may include AI-based tools to enhance your wellness experience (e.g., smart suggestions, chat support).

These tools are intended to support—not replace—professional advice. LifeForm is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content or outputs.

10. Limitation of Liability

The App and its contents are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifeForm disclaims all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including inaccuracies in activity data or third-party integrations.

11. Modifications to Terms

LifeForm may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, unless otherwise required by local law.
